That includes: abortion, homosexuality, mind altering substance usage, prostitution.
Actions that only concerns the ones committing them!
But it is the government's responsibility to create the proper legislation that will frame the production, the content, the sell of product of personal consumption!
To look at drug in an emotionally effected perspective is the same as putting your head in the sand, it benefits no one but it allows you to feel secure cause "YOU STAND AGAINST IT!"
If drugs became legal tomorrow, all of them, the amount of drug user would barely go up! You would inject heroin, or smoke crack tomorrow if it became legal? Of course not!
Guess what? It turns out that you are just like every body else! They wouldn't start doing those things, just like you, just because they are suddenly legal!
It also turns out that mobsters and bikers were never willing to sell drugs to children, even they have their limits(i've know enough of them to attest to that).
But it turns out that the results of prohibition, which you call "THE WAR ON DRUGS!" as cost America well over $100 000 000 000 ( yes that's ++++100 billion dollars) plus the lives of thousands of law enforcement officers plus the lives of countless drug users (either because the substance wasn't exactly what it was suppose to be, or as a product of a crime or another).
Coupled with the total engorging of the courts and the jails and correctional facilities.
But the TRUE final result of your beloved war on drugs is that now the drugs are sold by children!
You arrest one and 100 more are waiting to take that ones place. And that one will be back on the street after a few months of hanging with REAL CRIMINALS in jail/school.
Children do not really have a fully asserted moral center!
It takes +20 years before that part of the human brain acquires its full functionality/form (that is as long as nothing comes to hinder the generation/growth/evolution of that part of the brain,such as alcohols,caffeine and all the other *ine).
So children have absolutetoodly no problem selling drugs to children!
And since it is in the teenage years that all the roots of addictions are found, logical since you don't reminisces about your infancy but about those carefree happy days of your teenage years as you freely were able to experiment life and it's naughty pleasures, it is imperative that we insure that these dangerous substance do not find themselves in the hands of children.
So the solution is not to pretend that you can win a war against personal behavior that was lost thousands of years before some priest started it!
And trying to cure the disease of civilization by attacking its symptoms is a lot like putting a band-aid on a cancer!
FUTILE!
People often say "You don't like gays, don't marry one!"
Well if you don't like blue shirts, don't wear blue shirts!
If you don't like alcohol, don't drink alcohol!
If you don't like running shoes don't wear running shoes!
If you don't like prostitutes, don't be/visit one!
If u don't like meat, don't eat it!
If u don't like heroine, don't inject it!
But if i wanna be gay!
If wanna wear a blue shirt!
If i wanna drink alcohol!
If i wanna wear running shoes!
If i wanna accept money for having sex!
If i wanna give someone, who is willing to accept it, money to have sex with them!
If i wanna have a thick juicy steak!
If i wanna smoke a joint!
If i wanna believe in this or that!
If i wanna smoke crack!
If i wanna swim in the ocean!
If i wanna inject heroin!
Or,
If i don't wanna do any of those things!
It's no body's business but my own!
Not some child molesting and/or bigoted, misogynous, patriarchal, rights denying, priest of god!
Not some deity with a dick!
Not it's alleged, Bloodied/sacrificed/died for our sins, son!
Not my mother!
Not my daughter!
Not the police!
Not a judge!
Not my ex!
Not the government!
Not YOU!
And that remains true no matter who you know that died because of drugs!
Your personal effected emotionality, just like everyone else, just like all beliefs and opinionism, can not be allowed to govern the world, other wise we remain in chaos!
Drug should be treated like alcohol, with precise production/content/labeling/warning/limit engraved in a constitutional framework!
The commerces that sells them must be distinct and limited in numbers!
The addictive strength of all drugs can be reduced!
The potency of all drugs can be increased!
The lethality of all drugs can be reduced!
The cost of all drugs can be reduced!
These 4 actions would by themselves reduce criminality by almost half in a matter of weeks!
By insuring that children's access to these substance is greatly reduce, the probability of later addiction is also reduced!
In youth these are experimental!
In later adult years, people tend to return to these substance seeking that carefree feeling of the teenage years!
This is how addictions form!
Their sources can almost always be found right there in the teenage years!
And of prostitution!
It would be safer for all if prostitution was done in a legal safe setting that could insure the safety and health of all involved, rather than leaving it in a chaotic and very hazardous clandestine way!
As far as homosexuality is concern, it is a matter of constitutionality and human rights!
It is illegal for anyone to tell anyone "You can't do that particular thing because of your gender".
Every rights that every men have, women have the same!
Every rights that women have, men have the same!
A woman has a right to marry a man!
A man has a right to marry a woman!
But men and women have the exact same rights!
To deny a right to a human BECAUSE OF THEIR GENDER is anti constitutional!
If your constitutionally elected government is trying to prohibit you from marrying your lover because:
That person is of the wrong gender, or you are of the wrong gender.
Then that government in infringing on your personal rights to not be defined as a gender and your personal right to your OWN pursuit of happiness, under your own terms!
If i was homosexual and i wanted to get married, i would go and ask for a marriage license (regardless of the laws).
You see, government are obligated to provide you with a written reason for any refusal!
That refusal will have to state that you are denied a marriage license because of your gender, which is anti constitutional!
And there you have the ground for a beautiful law suit against the government for anti constitutional right infringement!
Now imagine the result of 10 000 homosexual couples per state simultaneously suing the US government on the same grounds?
Wanna change the laws, impose reality onto the world!
Don't fight to be recognized as a minority group!
Fight to be recognized for what you ACTUALLY are a full fledged 100% pure and true HUMAN BEING!
Not a gender!
Not a sexuality!
A HUMAN BEING!
You'll win that fight!
You will have far more support than you believe!
But it is your fight!
One of the many realities of this world is that if you don't do it for yourselves you have no rights to expect anyone to come and do it for you!
Abortions are an even simpler subject!
i could bore you with the details of the hearts and the brain waves and all the rest, but i've done it so many times recently that i just dont see the point anymore!
I find it sufficient to say this:
Women have been enslaved by men for more than 10 000 years, ever since our primary middle eastern ancestors disbanded after the first attempt at genocide when a scientific knowledge, the stellar calendar, was confused by a group as being a deity.
When god was born women lost their freedom!
It has been 10 000 years, and all god theorists and preachers of their holy gospels and absolute truths have found ways to justify their absolute domination of women!
Beaten raped used and abused in all imaginable and un imaginable ways for 10 000 years!
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Man would not accept to be enforced the inability to fertilized women!
Women have no reasons to accept being forced to not be able to not be fertilized by men!
If men want to prohibit abortion they will first have to imposed vasectomy to all!
Only under those terms, in which a woman decided "I wanna baby!" And took her man to the doctor with the lawyer to signed the legal paper to have it temporarily reversed (after which the vasectomy is re done), could abortion be prohibited, without actual medical emergency that is.
But men will never accept this!
Therefor they have no say!
It is not their bodies!
A woman is not a baby making machine!
Women will not be forced to return to the days in which they would be forced by the priest to swear obedience and servitude to their man!
Women are not the slaves and/or properties of men!
Women are not living incubators!
Women are not objects to be fucked!
Women aren't servants made to be kept pregnant and barefoot in the kitchen!
Women are the mothers of the human race!
They should be treated as such, not as subservient things to be used abused and dominated.
Abortions are a matter of the human rights and personal dignity of women period!
Well that was my rant!
