The Cost Of Being Civilized!

It starts with a simple question actually:

Do you consider that there are human beings on earth that aren't hman at the same degree that you are human?

If you answered yes... then consider me one of them and go away!

But if you say that all human beings are humans to the same degree, then they all must receive the same treatment from civilization!

The thing is that we refuse to accept the simple fact that; our cities, our states and provinces, our nations, civilization, the world, are all built in OUR image (just like our gods)!

There is racism because we were taught to distrust and denigrate all that differs from us.

All the scientists in the universe can't do anything against humanity's desire to maintain these erroneous concept (based solely on perceptions) well and alive.

No matter how many times it is said people will always believe their eyes before the TRUTH.

There is misogyny because we teach boys that fucking as many chics as possible makes them REAL MAN!

The truth is, we have these things because we were all raised in a religion or another.

We were all taught that women were created to serve and obey men, by those same religious up bringings.

The same is also true of racism!

That's a given for most of those who know history anyways.

But most of us have undrstood that these are fallacies.

Most of us understand that it isn't right to denigrate because of gender and race.

But doesn't that makes us all hypocrites in the process?

Here's what i'm getting at:

It is illegal to deny someone something because of their gender and/or race right?

So no one can say to someone; "You can not do thise becaue you are of this or that gender!"

So lets say, just to waste a bit of your precious time, that i meet a woman (me being a man of course).

Lets say she has a child of, oh lets say, 2 years of age.

And lets say that Daddy died a year ago!

So we live our happy lives for 10 years and then she dies.

You see as an heterosexual male i can protect us all simply by marrying her and adopting the child!

Then at her death the child doesn't loose both parents in 1 day.

If on the other hand i die, by the same process they are both protected through insurance and all.

But if instead i was homosexual and met a man with a 2 year old child mommy died a year ago we go on to our happy lives and one of us dies all three are screewed!

If he dies the child looses both parents and i loose both him and the child.

If i die they have no legal protection!

The same use to be tue of inter-racial couples.

So if all humans are humans to the same degree, then this is un acceptable.


The cost of civilization lays in a simple concept:

If you want to change civilization you must first change what civilization mirrors, which is you!

I know you'll say it's not YOU that must change it's the others, always the others.

But lets verify to be sure if you don't mind?

You say that it's the big industries that are responsible for polluting our world, that governments have sold us to the oil industries, and you want electric vehicles.

Yet you will admit that no one places a gun to your head when you buy your, cars or the oil that runs them,
or when you buy your Iwhatever(which were built in China by people being paid wages that you wouldn't accept for your dogs labor, and that are then shipped by plane to you), or any other product for that matter, yes not even drug dealers forces people to consume their products.

Now you always have the possibility to decided select/chose not only the products you consume but also which company you'll buy it from.

You now have at your finger tips the entire world with an internet connection, that you use for social medias instead of education (and to think of how many times you said that T.V. should be more educational and less bullshit).

You will also admit to have past behind a car that was running and were suffocated by the fumes at least once.

So you knew it was toxic but didn't care cause YOU have the RIGHT!

So you can chose the company that sells you your product but couldn't be bothered to chose the more environmentally safe and worker friendly ones now could you?

If big corps exist it is because WE DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, period!

If polluting industries persist it is because  WE DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, period!

As far as the electric car goes, you should have learned to think ahead after all this!

Ever heard of the law of supply and demand?

You know that thing that causes the price of thing that are in high demand to go up up up up up up?

So we double(x3,x5,x10?), the dams, the coal burning and nuclear power plants.

Then the entire electrical grid of entire nations must be rebuilt at 5 to 10 times it's present capacity.

So how much is it now costing you to run your fridge?

Watching T.V.? A luxury!

You could always take the bus once or twice a week, but that ain't why you bought a car right?

So i guess my statement remains!

If you want to change civilization you must first change what civilization mirror, which is YOU!

And your statement that it is not you that needs to change but the others is nul and non obstent!

So what do you do if a company denigrates and/or openly persecute women or a race or another?

Do you continue doing business with that company?

Because if you do then you are clearly stating that it is O.K. to treat these particular humans as not humans to the same degree as you!

After all civilized people no more persecute than condone the persecution of others.

It is the cost of being civilized to stand oppose those who would inflict pesecution on others.

It is the cost of being civilized to demand that all humans be treated exactly the same by civilization without distinctions, discriminations, and/or restrictions.

Liberty with limitations and/or restrictions is not liberty!

But liberty does come with conditions!

The same conditions that allows us to live as a civilized people within the walls of civilization.

The conditions is simply to not commit to any behavior that will have  negative effect on the lives and/or possessions of others.

Or in laymen terms:

To not do on to others that which we would not have others do on to ourselves!

When i drink a beer, i cause no negative impact, but if i then get behind the wheels of a car i risk the lives of countless, not to mention possible matertial damage!

The difference between personal behavior and societal behavior becomes clear, and so does the conditions of civilization, and in turn the conditions of true liberty.

Here we also find the obvious, dough too often denied, difference between FREE SPEECH and HATE SPEECH!

Free speech can not serve the purpose of spreading hatred.

When it is used to propagate  persecution 

IT IS NO LONGER FREE SPEECH!

When it seeks to denigrate and/or diminish the quality of life and/or deny the pursuit of happiness under ones own prerogatives and/or deny the rights of any and/or many individuals

 IT IS NO LONGER FREE SPEECH!

IT HAS BECOME HATE SPEECH!

And it then becomes our responsibility as civilized people to stand firmly oppose to such anti social behavior!

If a company wishes to claim that homosexuality is bringing some god's warth upon us, then that company is committing the social crime of hate speech.

And if said company wishes to proclaim that that is what free speech is all about, then it is up to us to prove to that company that we, as civilized people, will accept no such in civilization.

Too be more to the point, everyone who enters a christian church, condones the rape of millions of children, the denigration and servility of women, the denigration or racial differences for centuries, the slaughtering of countless scientist and countless war and genocides, and condones the persecution of homosexuals.

Making in the process the statement that all these people are and/or were not human to the same degree that they are human!

Who ever eats at Chic-Fil-A, or does any kind of business with any company that makes such statement, condones the bullyings, the persecutions, and all the overall denial of rights aimed at homosexual.

Making in the process the statement that homosexuals are not human to the same degree that they are human!

When you look at civilization you are indeed looking into a mirror, but the image in the mirror will not be altered until you change the one looking into the image in the mirror!

Every day of your life you have choices.

In many of those choices you can take a stand for the rights of all humans in the world!

No business can persist to carry on with hate speech if it has not enough customers, it will close.

No business can go on polluting carelessly if it has not enough customers, it will close.

And heat domes can not form if everyone limits the usage of their automobiles.

The cost of civilization is a clear one:

You can't chose to complain but commit to no change in your own lives and personal behavior and consumer habit, because then your cries are meaningless and the world will just keep getting worst and worst!

Or you can chose to behave like a truly responsible adult toward the entire world and civilization by accepting that all your actions have repercussions in the world, and therefor on others.

You can chose to commit to the changes and choices that will insure that the image in the mirror will begin to change and that the world will become truly equal for all, regardless of::

AGE

SIZE

HEIGHT

WEIGHT

LANGUAGE

HAIR COLOR

EYE COLOR

BELIEFS

GENEALOGY

SKIN COLOR

GENDER

SEXUALITY

!

The choice is, was, and will always be yours and yours alone!

And to quote Neil Peart:
